Atalanta vs Juventus – Match Report
The Serie A league match between Atalanta and Juventus finally ended in a draw after a tough competition between both sides. Both the sides displayed some quality performance on the field though the home side got more shots compared to the visitors. The match ended with 52% possession on Atalanta’s side including 15 shots, though only two were one target. Juventus on the other hand took 5 shots with 3 on target. Both sides have equal pass accuracy.
The match witnessed 20 fouls in total from both sides of which Juventus made 7 and Atalanta made 13. While Juventus got two yellow cards in the match. Danilo and Rabiot had to face yellow cards during the play of the game. Following this draw Juventus registered their second draw of the season and are positioned fourth in the points table with 14 points while Atalanta are placed just below in fifth place with 13 points.

The match started well with Atalanta dominating from the very beginning creating a chance in the 9th minute of the game but a save from Juventus goalkeeper Szczesny kept the scoreline nil. Another chance was created from a cross to Zappascosta but his shot went wide.
Juventus made a counterattack in the 33rd minute of the game with Kean shooting the ball from just outside the D box but got saved by the goalkeeper. Juventus was seen struggling to take shots which resulted in very less creation of chances to score.
A well-anticipated free kick was saved by Szczesny in the 75 minute which almost got the scoreline going for Atalanta. A very good skill was brought up by the Juventus goalkeeper who stopped quite a few chances of the opponent. Juventus was looking weak in the defense this game.
A late-minute chance was created again by Koopmeiner but the shot got to the woodwork and the match ended with a 0-0 scoreline. Juventus registered their second draw of the season while Atalanta registered their first draw. Both sides have showcased some good gameplay on the field and will be looking to do better in the upcoming matches of the season.
