Hainer embarks upon the financial aspects while referring to the “Rice deal”
Bayern Munich’s president, Herbert Hainer had his say with regard to the Declan Rice deal that failed to get going eventually. He said that several financial aspects of the club that existed made it difficult for them to prioritise Rice at that point of time. Hainer said,”With the Declan Rice deal, given our financial possibilities we had to set other priorities”.“What remains is the club. That’s why you have to make decisions in the interests of the club”, Hainer added.
