Rafael Leao denies any possibility of a move to Saudi
Portuguese international Rafael Leao has undoubtedly been one of the most likeable players in the football world lately. The tricky winger has been of great service to both his club and country over the past several seasons. His brilliance on the pitch is certainly wonderful to look at for every football fan around the globe. The winger recently gave vent to his opinions with regard to the speculations of his possible move to Saudi Arabian football.
Rafael Leao insists on staying in Europe and participating in the UCL
Leap made it very clear that European football and all the competitions involved are of the foremost priority to him at this stage of his career. His love and affection towards the UCL is immense as was pretty much clear from what he said. Leao said,“Saudi League proposals? For me, Champions League is worth more than €10m salary”. “I still haven’t achieved great results to accept go to that league”, he added.
The 24 year old also mentioned his love for AC Milan and the fact that he is pretty much determined to achieve more success with the Rossoneri at the club level hereon.“I’m focused on doing great things with AC Milan. That’s why I signed new deal few months ago”,said Leao.

Leao who was born in 1999 began his senior career with Sporting Portugal in 2017 at the age of 18. He joined AC Milan in 2019 and has been an integral part of the team thereon. The Portuguese has played 169 matches for the club so far scoring 46 goals across all competitions for the team.
AC Milan have been in fairly good form lately. The team finished fourth in the league last season. With 70 points in 38 games, the team cemented it’s place in the upcoming season’s Champions league. The major motto for the team nowon will be to continue their good run in the league and also deliver impactful performances in the Champions’ league. The onus will be on the club’s star players including Rafael Leao to help the side achieve its objectives hereon.
