Mikel Arteta has his say on Thomas Partey’s injury
Arsenal have been in fairly good form so far this season. The team has displayed quality performances across all competitions until now thereby continuing the fine rhythm that they were in during the previous season. The team is yet to lose its first game in the Premier League this season and is pretty much confident of making it to the top 4 yet again.
Amidst all the good things that have happened, the team has been crippled on a number of ocassions due to it’s players sustaining injuries. Amongst several players who’ve picked up injuries lately, one is Thomas Partey. Mikel Arteta had his say on the player’s injury status recently.
Arteta says that Partey will have to be out for a long with his injury
Fabrizio Romano via his official revelation let everyone know as to what Mikel Arteta had to say with regards to Partey’s injury recently. Thomas who has been a regular part of the team since the past several seasons has been really impactful with his fine performances on the field for Arsenal. The player’s having sustained an injury might be a big loss for the team in the upcoming times.

Arteta with regards to Partey’s injury said,“I think he will be out for weeks”.“I don’t know how long. It’s big concern because when Thomas Partey is fit and available we see the results and impact he has on the team”. Arteta’s words about Partey’s injury status currently makes it very clear that the injury that has been sustained by the player isn’t a minor one and it’s definitely going to take him some time before he gets back to his very best once again.
Partey who was born in 1993 spent a major part of the early career at Atletico Madrid wherein he played a total of 188 games in 6 years. It was in 2020 that he made a move to Arsenal on a permanent deal. The player has been a major part of the team’s game plan ever since. He has played a total of 104 matches for the club till date scoring 5 goals and providing 4 assists in all. It remains to be seen as to how quickly the player is able to recover and get back to his imperious best on the pitch.
