Manchester City supporters would have wanted to see Kevin De Bruyne back before the big game against Liverpool. However, Pep Guardiola and his medical staff believe it is too soon. In the first game against Burnley, Kevin de Bruyne, the Premier League’s assist King, suffered a hamstring injury. He has been ruled out since then, despite just playing 24 minutes in the 2023-24 season.

Meanwhile, the reigning champions’ medical team has stated that they expect their star to return to the pitch in January or February. The Sky Blues will be praying that when he returns, he returns as if he never went.
