Harry Kane scores once again for Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga

Bayern Munich has already scored 42 Bundesliga goals in this season.

Harry Kane scored again for Bayern Munich, this time against Heidenheim, as the England captain scored twice in the first half. This increases the striker’s Bundesliga goal count to 17 in only 11 matches, a record that has not been broken.

Harry Kane‘s first goal was a stunning finish into the right side of the goal as the player received the ball with his back to the goal, pushing the ball to the right, and quickly taking a right-footed shot to put Bayern Munich ahead. Kane’s second goal was a header to the right of the custodian from a corner in the 44th minute of the game, which he finished clinically.

With a brace soon before half-time, his two goals bring his season total to 20, meaning the Bayern Munich striker has scored 20+ goals in each of his last ten seasons as a professional football player.

Also, a fantastic result for his club, as they now sit atop the Bundesliga standings, one point ahead of second-placed Bayer Leverkusen, which has a game in hand. Bayern Munich, who are aiming for their 12th consecutive Bundesliga crown, would also want to assist their English talisman Harry Kane in winning his first club trophy.

Fans believe that if the Englishman can maintain his current form, he will be a serious contender for the Ballon d’Or in 2024. Success in the UEFA Champions League and the UEFA EURO 2024 would put the 30-year-old in a great position.

As the international break approaches, Harry Kane will face Malta and North Macedonia in UEFA EURO Qualification, with England needing only one point from two games to qualify. With England certain to qualify for the tournament, Harry Kane will be looking for national team triumph after failing to lift the 2020 UEFA EURO at Wembley Stadium in his own country.
