Manchester United boss hails Mctominay’s mentality on the pitch

Scottish professional footballer – Scott Mctominay has drawn a considerable amount of attention from the fans recently. The midfielder who has been a part of the Red Devils right since the beginning of his career has been of great service to the club in recent times. United manager – Eric Ten Hag seems to be in absolute awe of the Mctominay’s brilliance on the pitch lately. It’s due to the player’s amazing performances for the side that the manager gave his views on his unique mentality.

Mctominay’s attitude can be of great help to United

Fabrizio Romano via his official revelation let everyone know as to what Ten Hag has to say about Mctominay’s sheer brilliance mentality on the field. Ten hag said,“McTominay’s attitude is an example for everyone. Team mentality, not single player mentality”.”Of course I can’t expect that every time a player comes on, he scores two goals two minutes later. But this attitude is what we need”, he added.

Mctominay who was born in 1996 began his senior career with Premier League Club – Manchester United in 2016 at the age of 20. The player has made a total of 215 appearances for the team across all competitions so far scoring 21 goals and providing 5 assists. He was a part of the team that won the Carabao Cup earlier this year.

The player’s fantastic belief in his own abilities has helped the side to take control of the situations on a number of times.
