Cristiano Ronaldo has brought the football world to a halt once more. After an incredible finish against Al Akhdoud on Friday, the 38-year-old showed the world why he still belongs at the top. Following the International break, the Portuguese captain returned to play for Al-Nassr and took up just where he left off. His first goal of the night has sparked a social media frenzy.
Cristiano Ronaldo made his comeback against Al Akhdoud on Friday. The veteran had a brace against his opponent, scoring two of the three goals in Al-Nassr’s 3-0 victory.
Until the 77th minute, the game versus Al Akhdoud remained in doubt. The home team led 1-0, but it was Cristiano Ronaldo who put distance between the two squads. When an Al-Nassr forward got through on goal, he scored at the end of a ‘chaotic’ sequence. However, Al Akhdoud custodian Paulo Vitor intercepted Alex Tells’ pass. His choice to come outside the penalty area, on the other hand, was punished by Ronaldo’s fast thinking.

In a game where both Cristiano Ronaldo and Anderson Talisca missed many chances, the opposition was relatively quiet. Ronaldo, on the other hand, was unstoppable in the 77th minute, when his excellent touch and powerful shot at the near post drove Al-Nassr to a 2-0 lead. His second goal came not long after, when he chipped Al Akhdoud goalie Paulo Vitor, who was far beyond the penalty box.
