Barcelona set to sign 16-year-old Noah Darvich from Freiburg

German young talent Noah Darvich is all set to sign for Barcelona this summer. Barcelona has been looking to strengthen their side by picking up young talents who are expected to be future stars. Mikayil Faye has already arrived this summer to reinforce the Barça Athletic side while several other talents such as Trilli, Diego Percan, and Eman Kospo have also joined. Darvich’s contract is set to expire next year but Barcelona is on the way to signing the talented youngster.

16-year-old Noah Darvich to sign for Barcelona

Noah Darvich has been impressive for German Youth Football. The 16-year-old moved to Freiburg in 2017 and has been impressive making Swift progress through the ranks. In the under-19 setups of the club, featuring three times last season has successfully caught Barcelona’s attention with his performance.

Darvich is described as a technically sound attacking midfielder with good speed, dribbling, and passing ability. He also plays a deeper role as a winger for his side. He has been looked upon as one of the most talented youngsters of this generation.

Darvich’s club career started with Freiburg as he played in the U17 Bundesliga South. He made 23 appearances scoring 9 times and assisting 5 times. He is yet to make his debut in his senior career. Darvich is still a part of just the youth side at the International level for Germany and is expected to become regular with the under-17 by this season. He featured in the U-16 international team in 2021/22 and appeared on 4 occasions. He also went on to score once. In May 2023, He Was Selected By Christian Wück For The European Championship As Germany Under-17’s Captain. Last season has been impressive for the youngster at the International level as he scored on five occasions while appearing in 16 matches.
