Scottish youngster Bailey Rice has signed a contract extension with his Scottish club – Rangers FC as per the confirmations of several sources. The negotiations with respect to the player’s control extension were taking place over the past several days. The player who had first joined Rangers only last year is now all set to extend his period of stay at the club.
Bailey Rice extends his contract with Rangers until 2026
Fabrizio Romano via his official revelation let everyone know that Bailey Rice’s contract extension with Rangers FC is a done deal and has almost been completed. The player deiced to continue his stay at the Scottish club despite several top clubs showing interest in him.
Bailey Rice who was born in 2006 began his senior career with Rangers FC in the Scottish league in 2022 at the age of 16. The player got to make his professional debut for the club in February 2023. To talk about Rice’s duties for his national team so far, the teenager is yet to represent his country at the senior level. He has however been a part of the Scottish team at the youth level. He has been a more or less regular part of the U-17 side in the recent past.
Rangers have been in fairly good form lately. The team finished second in both the first and the second phase of the Scottish premiership last season. The team featured in the Champions’ league last season but failed to deliver any impactful performances.
The team’s next major motto will be to perform well in the ongoing league season and also achieve something significant in the upcoming Europa League season too. The onus will be on each of the team’s players including a young Bailey Rice to help the side achieve its objectives.
