Leicester City player Ashleigh Plumptre has made a move to the Saudi Pro League via this summer’s transfer window. Ashleigh Plumptre who was born in 1998 began her senior career with Notts County in the WSL1 in 2014 at the age of 16. She spent two years at the club and got to play 10 games for her side during the tenure. It was in 2019 that she made a move to Leicester City in the championship. She began getting more gametime for her new club. She made valuable contributions to help the side gain promotion to the Women’s Super League a couple years later. She has played a total of 80 games for the team scoring 4 goals during her 4 year stay.
Leicester City have been in rather poor form lately. The team finished 10th in the league last season with just 16 points in 22 matches throughout the season.
