Al Hilal seals deal with Zenit for Malcom

Brazilian forward Malcom moves from Zenit to the Saudi Arabian side Al Hilal for €60m. Malcom will now join Al Hilal’s lineup as the fourth signing in the current summer transfer window after Sergej Milinkovi-Savi, Kalidou Koulibaly, and Ruben Neves.

The 26-year-old makes his move to the fifth new club in his career after starting with Corinthians in 2015. In the year 2016, he relocated to Bordeaux for a whooping €9.5m. Next, he signed for Barcelona for €41m and left Barcelona in 2020 to join Zenit at a €40m deal. His exceptional performances were crucial to the team’s success, which resulted in them winning nine championships.

Malcom joins Saudi Arabia side for €60m

Malcom after a successful tenure with Zenit which started in the year 2020, joins Saudi Arabia side Al Hilal. Al Hilal seals the deal with the Russian club Zenit to make their new transfer this summer. Malcom is all set to join Al Hilal after a medical exam this week. Malcom has performed exceptionally well in recent years which resulted in a big jump in his career.

His announcement to sign AS Roma made a significant change in his career after which he shocked everyone by going to Barcelona with a contract worth 41 million euros the very next day. The 26 years old started a new journey in 2020 when he joined Zenit St Petersburg in Russia. He has an astonishing career with Zenit and is now all set to make his next move to his new club Al Hilal.

Malcom made 70 appearances for Corinthians in the year 2014 and 2015 and scored 10 goals. He then moved on to Bordeaux and played three seasons of the Ligue 1 making 96 appearances and scoring 23 goals.

He joined Barcelona for one season and featured in 24 matches scoring 4 goals. He had an incredible time in Zenit St Petersburg where he played the Russian Super League for five seasons making 109 appearances and scoring 42 goals and 24 assists. In Tokyo 2020, Malcom won Olympic gold with the Brazilian national squad, contributing to his already excellent resume. He also represented the national side at the highest level by playing for senior  Brazil in the games against Guinea and Senegal in June of the same year.
