Isco makes La Liga move after being without a club for 7 months

Former Real Madrid midfielder, Isco Alarcon has made a move to the Spanish club after having left his previous club, Sevilla back in the month of December last year. The Spaniard who had almost faded away from the scene for around the past half year after having become a free agent has finally made a return to football.

The 31-year-old has been confirmed to have made a move to La Liga club Real Betis. The club will for sure be happy to have a player of his calibre besides the fact that he brings with him loads of experience which he gained during his days with Real Madrid.

Isco to join Real Betis for the upcoming season

Fabrizio Romano via his official revelation made it clear that Isco’s move to Betis is now a done deal. The player is wanted at the club by the manager Manuel Pellegrini. Isco had previously joined Sevilla in the 2022/23 season after an extremely successful stint at Real Madrid. However, his time at Sevilla wasn’t a memorable one especially since the departure of coach Julen Lopetegui, since his relationships with the club kept deteriorating thereon. Isco will be joining several other newly arrived players at the club as the upcoming season kicks off in the next month.

Isco who began his senior career with Valencia in the year 2010 kept improving with the passage of time. His move to Real Madrid in the 2013/14 season was a major turning point in his career. The player won a couple of league titles besides lifting 4 Champions League trophies in a space of 5 years with a star-studded Real Madrid team. His most recent move to Sevilla last season saw him make 19 appearances for the club wherein he managed to score 1 goal. Real Betis finished 6th in La Liga 2022/23 making them eligible to feature in this season’s Europa League. It remains to be seen as to whether Isco is able to fit into his new team’s set-up and add value to the club or not.
