Willi Orban signs new deal with RB Leipzig
Hungarian international Willi Orban has signed a new deal with his club Leipzig recently. The negotiations with respect to the player’s new deal were taking place over the past few days. The player who had joined Leipzig back in the year 2015 is now all set to lengthen his period of stay at the club even further. The player’s new deal with the club has almost been completed per several sources’ confirmations.
Willi Orban extends his stay at Leipzig
Fabrizio Romano via his official revelation let everyone know that Willi Orban’s new deal with Leipzig has been completed and sealed. The player has extended his contract with the club as his new deal shall be valid until the year 2028. The player is considered important for the club as is evident from his new deal.
Willi Orban who was born in 1992 began his senior career with FC Kaiserslautern II in 2011 at the age of 19. After 4 years and 77 appearances for the club across all competitions, the player made a move to Bundesliga club – RB Leipzig in 2015. He has been an integral part of the team ever since having joined them. The 30-year-old currently captains his club. He has played a total of 292 games for the team scoring 27 goals.

Leipzig have been in fairly good rhythm lately. The team finished third in the league last season with 66 points to its name in 38 games including 20 wins. A top four finish means that they shall be eligible to play in the Champions League during the upcoming season.
The team’s major motto will be to continue their good performances in the league and also achieve something significant in the Champions’ League in near future. The onus will be on the club’s current stars including Willi Orban to help the side achieve its objectives hereon.
