Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s bond with Rafael Leao
Rafael Leao joined AC Milan in 2019 following an amazing season with Lille, where he quickly distinguished himself. In 2021, he was finally recognized for his efforts and was part of a fantastic offensive squad that included Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Ante Rebic. Despite his close relationship with Ibrahimovic, he said that the Milan icon rarely talked to him until he had a horrible game.
Leao claimed on the 19F Podcast that Ibrahimovic never spoke to him after a strong performance. When the winger had a terrible day at work, Ibrahimovic would focus on the minor elements and tell him where he might improve.
