Spanish journalist Guillem Balague made a shocking revelation about Cristiano Ronaldo’s feelings towards Lionel Messi

Cristiano Ronaldo almost sued the journalist for his disclosure.

Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo are often considered to be the best players of their age. Together, they have scored 1454 goals and assisted 578 times at the club level. Being the tremendous players that they are, it was inevitable that they would have a rivalry. Many fans assumed the two had a mutually respectful relationship, however, a Spanish journalist has revealed some shocking information.

Guillem Balague, a Spanish journalist and football author, said that Ronaldo used to call the Argentine striker a “motherf**ker.” Balague told CBS Sport that the Portuguese star considered the FC Barcelona striker as an “enemy” and would often shout him obscenities in the locker room while being nice to him. He mentioned everything in Messi’s biography.

Balague further stated that Ronaldo and his staff attempted to transform his image into that of a truly kind man. It was working until he issued the Messi book, in which he wrote about Ronaldo, attempting to portray them as fighters.

He added, “Ronaldo, perhaps as a symptom of the immaturity that marks so many footballers, thinks it necessary to put on a brave face in front of his teammates, not be scared of Messi, and to rise to the challenge. All very macho; all very false. And that is why, according to some Real Madrid players, CR7 has a nickname for him: “motherf—-r”; and if he sees someone from the club speaking to Leo, he also ends up being baptized “motherf—-r”
