Romain Saïss makes a move to Saudi club following Al Sadd exit
Al Sadd playerb Romain Saïss has made a move to the Saudi Pro League via this summer’s transfer window. The negotiations with respect to the player’s move were taking place over the past few days. The player who had joined Al Sadd around a couple months ago is now all set to part ways with the club so as to join Saudi club – Al Shabab on loan. The player’s move to his new club has almost been completed as per the confirmations of several sources.
Romain Saïss joins Al Shabab on a loan deal
Fabrizio Romano via his official revelation let everyone know that Romain Saïss’ move to Al Shabab has been completed. The player who had signed for Al Sadd on a two year contract only two months ago is now joining Al Shabab on loan. The player has just played 3 games for Al Sadd after having signed for them in July.
Romain Saïss who was born in 1990 began his senior career with French club – Valnce in the 2010/11 season at the age of 20. He made a move to Clermont shortly after that same season. In 2013 he made a move to Le Havre. In the 2016/17 season he signed for Wolverhampton in the championship. He helped the side gain promotion to the premier league a couple years later. After having made over 200 appearances for the club he made a move to Beskitas in 2022.
Al Shabab been in fairly good form lately. The team finished fourth in the league last season. With 56 points in 30 matches throughout the season, the team marginally missed out on a place in the AFC champions league for the upcoming season. The team’s next major motto will be to perform better in the ongoing league season. The onus will be on the team’s new signings including Moroccan goalkeeper – Romain Saïss to help the side achieve its objectives hereon.
