Reports have surfaced that Nottingham Forest’s manager, Steve Cooper, is being considered by Tottenham Hotspur as a replacement for Antonio Conte

Reports have surfaced that Nottingham Forest’s manager, Steve Cooper, is being considered by Tottenham Hotspur as a replacement for Antonio Conte, and positive remarks made about him by Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp in the past will no doubt be well received by the fans at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Tottenham is one of many teams contemplating making an offer for Cooper at the conclusion of the season, as reported by The Daily Mail.

Former Chelsea and Inter Milan manager Antonio Conte is now the head coach of Tottenham, however, his future with the club is uncertain.

According to GiveMeSport, Mauricio Pochettino is the frontrunner to succeed Antonio Conte as Spurs manager, although he has competition from Jonathan Cooper.

Now, the 43-year-old is the manager of Nottingham Forest. The Welshman has only been managing professional football teams at the highest level since 2019, yet he has already had success at Swansea City and is now leading Forest.

Cooper led the Reds to promotion from the Championship to the Premier League after the last season. The Reds were last in the Championship when the Welshman took over in September of 2021.

Forest made the playoffs, and after a long and arduous journey, they emerged victorious at Wembley Stadium in London. And the boss at Liverpool, Jürgen Klopp, thought the Welshman was impressive. After winning the Manager of the Year accolade at the LMA awards in May 2022, Klopp said, as quoted in NFN: “Thank you to all my colleagues. For example, what Steve Cooper did at Nottingham (Forest) is crazy.”
