Real Madrid Transfer News: Real Madrid President compares his new €35m signing to Kylian Mbappe
Real Madrid Transfer News: It has been stated that Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is optimistic that his club’s newest addition will have a similar effect to that of Kylian Mbappe. He thinks Endrick will be a key cog for the team if he signs with them in July 2024 for €35 million (without add-ons).
According to El Nacional, Perez is no longer actively pursuing his goal of signing Mbappe to Real Madrid. The Spaniard has shifted his attention to Endrick and is said to be interested in signing Erling Haaland once his contract with Manchester City expires.

According to reports, the president of Los Blancos is still bitter over Mbappe’s decision to accept a new contract with PSG last summer. Earlier this season, he was cited by ESPN as saying about the Frenchman: “His dream was to play for Real Madrid. Last August, we tried to make it happen, but they wouldn’t let him go. He kept saying he wanted to play for Madrid, but about 15 days before, he changed his mind. This is not the Mbappe I wanted to bring. This is a different Mbappe, whose dream must have changed. He changes, he’s offered other things, he’s put under pressure, and he’s already another player.”
While Real Madrid was understandably upset by Kylian Mbappe’s decision to remain at PSG, the response from La Liga was far more severe. They went to court to contest the terms of the new agreement but were ultimately unsuccessful.
La Liga president Javier Tebas has been at the forefront of requests for a financial audit of PSG. Neither Real Madrid nor any of its players have issued a statement or publicly stated their support for La Liga’s petition.
