Real Madrid’s Massive Regret: Club in Crisis Seeks Urgent Solution for Expensive Misfit!

The Costly Burden: Real Madrid's Struggle to Cut Ties with Forgotten Star Amid Financial Woes and Squad Overhaul

Fichajes reports that Real Madrid is very motivated to offload attacking midfielder Reinier Jesus. It’s quite doubtful that the 21-year-old will have a future with Los Blancos after he underwhelmed on loan at Borussia Dortmund and Girona.

Reinier Jesus was purchased by Real Madrid from Flamengo for €30 million in January 2020. The young prospect scored twice in three games for Real Madrid Castilla (reserve squad) after being sent there for the remainder of the season.

To get more playing time in a competitive environment, Reinier was loaned to Borussia Dortmund for two seasons starting in the summer of 2020. He played in just 39 games, but he contributed to two goals.

The following summer of 2022 saw him back in Los Blancos. The 21-year-old was subsequently sent on a one-year loan to Girona of La Liga. Despite just playing 536 minutes this season, Reinier has managed to score only once in 16 appearances.

Fichajes reports that Real Madrid will get Reinier Jesus back by the first week of July. According to reports, he will not have a future with the club due to his inability to live up to his €30 million price tag. His future club is unknown, but he is already being called one of the worst acquisitions in recent history by Los Blancos fans.

After scoring the game-winning goal in Real Madrid’s 2-1 victory against Rayo Vallecano (who were in 11th position) yesterday (May 24), winger Rodrygo shared his thoughts on his team’s performance.

Real Madrid, coached by Carlo Ancelotti, were playing at the Santiago Bernabeu despite having already lost the La Liga championship to Barcelona. In the 31st minute, Real Madrid took the lead thanks to a goal from Karim Benzema. The home team had 62% of the ball, although Rayo Vallecano appeared the more dangerous with 6 shots on goal to the visitors’ 3.

Raul de Tomas scored in the 84th minute to pull Rayo Vallecano even. However, five minutes later, the FIFA Club World Cup winners scored the game-winning goal thanks to Rodrygo.
