PSG Transfer News: According to reports, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) is keeping tabs on Sporting CP centre-back Goncalo Inacio, who is wanted by Liverpool.
The interest in Inacio has reportedly prompted Sporting to give him a new contract with a higher salary and a revised release clause, as reported by O Jogo (h/t Le Parisien). His current deal is set to expire in the summer of 2026, and it includes a €45 million buyout provision.
The club will not allow him to depart for less than a guaranteed spot in the Primeira Liga. However, PSG has not yet taken any concrete steps to confirm their interest in the 21-year-old. Liverpool, on the other hand, has already begun investigating the possibility of such a merger.

The 2012 summer transfer brought the two-time Portugal national team member to Sporting CP. He has been an integral part of Ruben Amorim’s squad, starting the 2020–21 season with 118 games at the senior level.
Given that Sergio Ramos is said to be leaving as a free agent this summer if he doesn’t halve his salary, PSG’s reported interest in Inacio makes sense. Although El Chadaille Bitshiabu, 17-years-old, shows promise, he still lacks the experience necessary to be relied upon consistently.
Meanwhile, Liverpool may be looking forward to the future. Both Joel Matip and Virgil van Dijk are well into their thirties, so their playing days are winding down. Meanwhile, Joe Gomez’s history of injuries is well known.
PSG Transfer News: According to reports, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) is keeping tabs on Sporting CP centre-back Goncalo Inacio, who is wanted by Liverpool.
After hearing that Renato Sanches was suddenly available, Liverpool allegedly went on high alert. Football Insider reports that PSG has put the 25-year-old forward on the market in anticipation of the next summer transfer window. Before he signed with PSG in August 2022, he was desired by Jurgen Klopp, who has been a fan of his for some time.
Sanches, who committed to the Parc des Princes on a five-year agreement over the offseason, has been unable to establish himself in Christophe Galtier’s starting lineup. Only 736 minutes of total game time have resulted from his 22 total competitive appearances.
Given Liverpool’s dire need for a new midfielder, the Portugal international may get more playing time if he moves to Anfield. With Jordan Henderson and Fabinho’s lacklustre play in recent months, the club’s current midfield may need some reinforcements.
It’s possible that this summer’s free agents will be Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Naby Keita, and James Milner.
