Pochettino has his say on Cole Palmer’s recent performances
Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino has had to go through several hot and cold moments in the Premier League so far this season. Despite having made loads of transfers during the transfer window, the performances that the team was delivering on the pitch were majorly average right from the start. The things have however started to take a turn recently for the team as they won a couple of league games on a trot to get some bit of momentum for themselves. Pochettino healed praise upon all of the players who had done a fine job for the team. Amidst several players whom the manager spoke about was Cole Palmer.

Chelsea’s recent surge in terms of delivering impactful performances in the league has been a result of some serious but of brilliance being displayed by it’s newly signed players. Cole Palmer has surely been one of the most efficient players for the team in the past one month or so.

He registered an all important assist in the team’s 1-0 win against Brighton in the EFL cup game. He also had a great game without any goals or assists in the Premier League. He displayed his best performance for the team so far in the most recent game vs Burnley when he registered a goal and an assist each to lead the Blues to a fantastic 4-1 win.
Cole Palmer who was born in 2002 began his senior career with Manchester City in the year 2020/21 at the age of 18. It was in 2023 that the player after having made 41 appearances for the club made a move to Chelsea during the recent transfer window prior to the beginning of the current season.
Chelsea have shown some sort of resurgance in the recent times to turn things around a little in the league. The team currently sits 11th in the league table with 11 points in 8 matches so far. It remains to be seen as to how far the team is able to perform to its best abilities during the remainder of the season.
