Marko Arnautovic joins UCL finalists following Blogna exit
Bologna player Marko Arnautovic has joined another Serie A club via this season’s transfer window. The negotiations with regard to the player’s move were taking place over the last several days. The player is all set to join Inter Milan, a club which he was a part of back in the 2009/10 season under Jose Mourinho. Arnautovic’s move to Inter Milan is a complete one already as per the confirmations of several sources.
Marko Arnautovic to join Inter Milan after 13 long years
Fabrizio Romano via his official revelation let everyone know that Marko Arnautovic’s transfer to Inter Milan has been completed. An agreement regarding the player’s move has been reached for £10m package along with the add ons included. Medical tests are supposedly going to take place this week. The Austrian striker has agreed on the terms with inter weeks ago and now is all set to join the Nerazzuri shortly after.
Marko Arnautovic who was born in 1989 began his senior career with Eredevisie club Twente in the year 2006 at the age of 17. He made 59 appearances for the club during his three year stay, scoring 14 goals. He spent the following 2009/10 season on loan at Inter Milan, wherein he got to play only three games throughout the entire season.
He then joined Werder Bremen in the 2010/11 season . He stayed at the club until 2013/14 and had played 84 matches for the side before joining Premier League club, Stoke City. He played 145 games for the team in the upcoming four years scoring 26 goals.
The following two seasons (2017/18,2018/19) saw him play for West Ham. He thereon made a move to Chinese Super league club, Shanghai Port wherein he stayed for three years playing in a total of 39 matches. His most recent stint at Bologna saw him play 58 games and score 25 goals in three years.
Inter Milan have been in fairly good form lately. The club finished third in the league last season. With 72 points in 38 matches the team finished top 4, which means they shall be featuring in the upcoming season’s Champions league. The side also made it to the champions league final last season before succumbing to a defeat against Man City in the all important game.
The team’s major motto will be to achieve better results in the upcoming league season as well as the champions league. The onus will be on the team’s new signings including, Marko Arnautovic to help the side achieve its objectives hereon.
