Liverpool has taken the forefront in trying to recruit Yunus Musah
As Jurgen Klopp searches for midfield reinforcements in the transfer season, Liverpool is interested in Yunus Musah. However, Arsenal and Chelsea are also after him. Several teams in the Premier League, including Liverpool, have shown interest in Yunus Musah, according to Fichajes. After giving up on Jude Bellingham and Enzo Fernandez, Jurgen Klopp has shifted his focus to other midfield options. The club is still anxious to add a player to the centre.
After a chaotic transfer window, Liverpool is looking to add a new midfielder. After having several issues with the rest of the group this year, a central player is desperately needed.
There aren’t many good possibilities for the club to pursue in their search for a new midfielder, despite Jurgen Klopp’s repeated insistence. Before it became apparent that Benfica would only consider a deal that met Enzo Fernandez’s €120 million release clause, Liverpool seemed to be interested in signing him.
To a similar extent, they may have given up the chase for top target Jude Bellingham. It seems that Manchester City and Real Madrid have emerged as the frontrunners for the services of Borussia Dortmund’s top player.
As a result, a change in strategy is required, and reports suggest that Yunus Musah of Valencia is being considered for the vacant position. The Gunners are interested in the former young player, and Chelsea is keeping tabs on him.
Musah has just come off an outstanding World Cup performance on an individual level. Premier League teams have taken notice of the 20-year-old’s performance for the United States national team, and Valencia is preparing to field bids for him.
His background is perfect for what Liverpool needs. Klopp might benefit much from the 20-year-old’s aggressive play and boundless energy, but a lot rides on how much he costs.
Liverpool, though, should keep an eye on Arsenal and Chelsea in case they become serious about signing any of them. But if the Gunners pursue the midfielder, they’ll be in a great position.
Although their pursuit of Enzo Fernandez failed, Chelsea may re-enter the market. Also, they have a history of extravagant spending, which may eventually apply to Musah. Unfortunately, much like Liverpool, their central players have struggled this season.
Musah is covered by a long-term contract with an extensive release clause that keeps him in the fold until 2026. His current market worth is estimated to be approximately €25 million, but if more than one team is interested, Valencia may ask for a far larger sum. The club’s asking price is unknown, although it may be reasonable for Premier League teams to offer.
