Ajax player Jorge Sanchez is closing in on loaned move to the Portuguese league via this summer’s transfer window. The negotiations with respect to the player’s move were taking place over the past few days. The player who had joined the Eredevisie club only last season is now all set to part ways with the club so as to join Porto FC on loan.The player’s move to the Portuguese club has almost been completed as per the confirmations of several sources.

Fabrizio Romano via his official revelation let everyone know that Jorge Sanchez’s loaned move to Porto FC has almost been completed. The contracts being exchanged with Ajax. The player shall be joining the Portuguese club on a loan deal with a £4m buy option. The move might become mandatory under certain conditions.
Jorge Sanchez who was born in 1997 began his senior career with Santos Laguna in the Liga MX in 2016/17 season at the age of 20. After having made 40 appearances for the club in 2 years, he joined Club América. He stayed at the club almost for the upcoming 4 years. The right back made 150 appearances for the club during his tenure before making a move to Ajax lately in the 2022/23 season.
The 26 year old player had made his debut for the national team in the year 2019. He was a part of Mexico’s 26 man squad for the 2022 World Cup. He has made a total of 36 appearances for the country at the senior level till date.
Porto have been in fairly good form lately. The side finished second in the league last season just below Benfica. With 85 points in 38 matches throughout the season, the side cemented it’s place in the upcoming season’s Champions league.
