Juventus is prepared to trade Manuel Locatelli to Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal and then buy Mateo Kovacic from Graham Potter’s Chelsea

According to CMW’s reporting, in the next summer transfer window, Juventus is prepared to trade Manuel Locatelli to Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal and then buy Mateo Kovacic from Graham Potter’s Chelsea.

The Italian media source reportedly claims that Arsenal is interested in acquiring Locatelli from Juventus. Locatelli is a midfielder for the Italian national team.

They apparently see Chelsea midfielder Mateo Kovacic as a suitable alternative for the 25-year-old and are eager to trade him to Arsenal.

While legally on loan to Juventus from Sassuolo, the Bianconeri are obligated to make the transfer permanent for the £91,000-a-week (SalarySport) star in the summer of 2023.

We think it’s great news for Arsenal because Juventus is allegedly prepared to sell Manuel Locatelli during the summer transfer window.

Even if Arsenal will have to pay a hefty transfer price today, at least they know the Italian champions are open to selling the midfielder.

Locatelli is regarded as one of Italy’s top midfielders. The midfielder is a force to be reckoned with, capable of carrying his side ahead with his energy and determination. What’s more, he’s just 25 years old.

We think Arsenal would make a great move if they were to acquire Locatelli during the next summer transfer window. Meanwhile, 90min has stated that Kaoru Mitoma would be offered a new long-term deal by Brighton & Hove Albion.

According to the rumour, Arsenal had intentions of acquiring Mitoma from Brighton during the January transfer window, despite their bitter rivalry in the Premier League.
