Jesper Lindstrøm makes a move to Serie A club following Frankfurt exit
Frankfurt player Jesper Lindstrøm has made a move to the Serie A via this summer’s transfer window. The negotiations with respect to the player’s move were taking place over the past few days. The player who had joined Frankfurt around a couple years ago is now all set to part ways with the club so as to join Italian club – Napoli. The player’s move to his new club in Italy has almost been completed as per the confirmations of several sources.
Jesper Lindstrøm joins Napoli on a permanent deal
Fabrizio Romano via his official revelation let everyone know that Jesper Lindstrøm’s move to Napoli has almost been completed. The player has joined the Serie A club on a €5m loan fee, including a €20m mandatory buy option clause. The Danish has agreed to a five year contract with Napoli that shall expire in the year 2028.
Jesper Lindstrøm who was born in 2000 began his senior career with Brøndby in the year 2018 at the age of 18. He got to play 65 matches for the club in three years during which time period he scored 15 goals. He thereon made a move to Bundesliga club – Eintracht Frankfurt in the 2021/22 season. He made 78 appearances for the club during his two year stay until the season 2023/24 which has now been followed by his move to Napoli.
Napoli have been in terrific form lately. The team won the league title after 33 long years last season. With 90 points in 38 matches throughout the league season the team finished way ahead of everyone else in the table. The team has also cemented it’s place in the current season’s champions’ league.
The motto for the team now will be to continue their fine form in the ongoing league season too and also deliver impactful performances in the Champions’ league. The onus will be on the team’s new signings including Jesper Lindstrøm to help the side achieve its objectives hereon.
