Jerome Boateng nearing a return to Bundesliga club

German international – Jerome Boateng is closing in on a return to his former club Bayern Munich soon. The negotiations with respect to the player’s move back to Bayern are in progress over the past few days. The player who had parted ways with Bayern Munich back in 2021 is now on verge of making a return to the club. The player’s move to Bayern Munich is a done deal as per the confirmations of several sources.

Jerome Boateng to sign for Bayern Munich soon

Fabrizio Romano via his official revelation let everyone know that Jerome Boateng’s move back to Bayern Munich is reaching its final stages real soon. The club is in advanced talks to bring back Boateng as a free agent. Boateng too has given a green light and is in favour of a return to the German club. The deal is also said to be completed inside the upcoming 2 days.

Jerome Boateng who was born in 1988 began his career with Hertha in 2006. He made a big move to Bayern Munich in the year 2011 at the age of 23. He stayed at the club for the upcoming ten years. During his stay at the club he played a total of 364 matches thereby winning two Champions’ league titles. He left the club for Lyon in 2021. Over the past two seasons he has played just 35 matches for the French club.

Bayern Munich have been in brilliant form lately. The team won the Bundesliga title last year for a record 33rd time in their history. The team will be featuring in this season’s champions league too. The major motto for the side will be to continue their brilliant run of form in the ongoing league season as well.

They also will be eyeing a champions league won this season with star players in their side already. The onus will be on the team’s new signings too including Jerome Boateng to help the side achieve its objectives hereon.
