Jack Harrison joins Premier League club from Leeds United
Leeds United player, Jack Harrison has made a move a loaned move to another english club via this summer’s transfer window. The negotiations with respect to the player’s transfer were taking place over the past several days. Despite there being interests from several other clubs too for Harrison recently, the player’s final destination is all set to be none other than Everton. Amongst the clubs that made efforts to sign the winger was Aston Villa. However the fact that Harrison had sustained a hip injury which could keep him out for a while made Aston Villa lose their interest in signing the player.
Jack Harrison to join Everton on loan
Fabrizio Romano via his official revelation let everyone know that Jack Harrison’s move to Everton on loan has been completed. Despite Aston Villa making a late move for the player, he is all set to join Everton shortly after. Harrison has already passed a medical with Everton on Monday. Everton are happy to see their major target joining them on loan this season. This is their fourth signing of this season after Ashley Young, Arnaut Danjuma and Youssef Chermitti.
Jack Harrison who was born in 1996 began his senior career with New York City FC in the year 2016 aged 20. He made 60 appearances for his team scoring 14 goals in two years. He was loaned out to Middlesbrough the next season where he made just four appearances before joining Leeds United in the 2018/19 season.
It was in the 2019/20 season that Harrison helped his side achieve excellent performances in the championship and thereby get promoted to the Premier league again. He has scored 34 times in 205 games for the club during his 5 year stay at the club so far.
Everton have been delivering below average performances in the recent past. The team finished 17th in the league last season. With just 36 points in 38 games, Everton narrowly managed to avoid the relegation zone. The team also has succumbed to a defeat in its first Premier League match of the 2023/24 season against Fulham.
The team’s major motto will be to achieve better results in the current premier league season hereon. The onus will be on the club’s new signings including loan player Jack Harrison to help the side achieve its objectives in the upcoming times.
