Ilyes Housni makes a move to Qatari club from Paris Saint Germain

PSG player Ilyes Housni has made a move to the Qatari league via this summer’s transfer window. The negotiations with respect to the player’s move were taking place over the past few days. The player who had joined PSG only last year is now all set to part ways with the club so as to join Al Sadd FC on loan. The player’s move to his new club has almost been completed as per the confirmations of several sources.

Ilyes Housni joins Al Sadd FC on a loan deal

Fabrizio Romano via his official revelation let everyone know that Ilyes Housni’s move to Al Sadd FC has almost been completed. The player shall be joining the Qatari club on a loan deal. Al Sadd FC shall be signing Housni on a one year contract.

Ilyes Housni who was born in 2005 began his senior career with Ligue 1 club PSG in the 2022/23 season at the age of 17. The teenager made his debut for the side in January this year and got to play just two games throughout the later half of the last season. The youngster is now all set to begin a fresh phase in his career with Al Sadd FC until the end of the ongoing season.

Al Sadd FC have been in fairly good form lately. The team finished third in the league last season with 44 points to their name in 22 matches. The team managed to cement its place in the upcoming season’s AFC champions league qualifiers. The team’s next major motto will be to continue their form in the league and deliver impactful performances both in the Qatar Stars league and the Champions league. The onus will be on the team’s new signings including young Ilyes Housni to help the side achieve its objectives hereon.
