Turkish professional football club Fenerbahçe competes in the top flight of Turkish football, Süper Lig. Fener has never been relegated from the top division of Turkish Football and currently competes in the Turkish Super League, the Turkish Cup, the Turkish Super Cup, and UEFA Europa Conference League. The Ismail Kartal-managed side ended up as runners-up last season after losing the final against Galatasaray. Fenerbahçe sits at the top of the Süper Lig all-time Table.
They are one of the most successful sides in Turkish football winning 19 Süper Lig titles. Fenerbahçe played their last season’s final against their most intense rivals Galatasaray. Their derby is also known as The Intercontinental Derby and is one of the most intense and fierce full derby globally. 1) Dominik Livakovic – Croatian professional Goalkeeper Dominik Livakovic has joined Süper Lig club Fenerbahçe on a €6.65 million fee, signing a 5-year contract. The 28-year-old has been with Dinamo Zagreb since 2016 and has finally made his move after 207 appearances for the Croatian club. Livakovic is currently the primary goalkeeper for his national side and has made a total of 47 appearances. He has also featured in the 2022 FIFA World Cup and 2021 UEFA Euro.
2) Fred – Brazilian professional footballer Fred plays as a midfielder, and has made his move from Premier League club Manchester United to Süper Lig club Fenerbahçe. The 30-year-old signed for Fred on a four-year contract for a fee of €9.74 million. He has good experience in the midfield position and will be a great asset for the Turkish side this season. Fred came back into the national side in 2021 and made 11 appearances that year making a total of 32 appearances for his national side.
3) Cengiz Ünder – Turkish international Cengiz Ünder signed a four-year contract with Süper Lig club Fenerbahçe for a reported fee of €15 million. He has a good record for his country making 51 appearances and having 16 international goals beside his name. The ex-Roma striker signed for Marseille last year on a five-year contract making 37 appearances and scoring 5 goals.
