Fede Valverde signs new deal with Real Madrid

Uruguayan professional footballer – Fede Valverde has signed a new deal with Real Madrid recently. The negotiations with respect to the player’s new deal were taking place over the past few days. The player who had joined back in the year 2018 is now all set to lengthen his period of time at the club even further. The player’s new deal with the club has almost been completed as per the confirmations of several sources.

Fede Valverde extends his stay at Real Madrid

Fabrizio Romano via his official revelation let everyone know that Fede Valverde’s new deal with Real Madrid has been completed. The player shall be extending his contract at Madrid as per the agreements that have been reached by the club. A €1B release clause has been confirmed as the new deal shall be valid until 2028.

Fede Valverde who was born in 1998 began his senior career with Uruguayan club – Penarol in 2016 at the age of 18. He made a move to Real Madrid in the division B the following year. It was in 2018 that he found his way into the first team at the age of 20 for the first time. The player hasn’t looked back ever since as he went on to play a total of 215 matches for the team across all competitions. He was a part of the side when they lifted the UCL in 2022.

Real Madrid have been in fairly good form lately. The team finished second in the league last season just below Barcelona. Carlo Ancelloti’s men also failed to defend their Champions’ league title last season after crashing out in the semi finals against Manchester City. The next major motto for the side will be to deliver better performances in the league and the UCL. The onus will be on the team’s talented youngsters including a certain Eduardo Camavinga to help the side achieve its objectives hereon.
