Chelsea News: Lena Wurzenberger, Julian Nagelsmann’s girlfriend, has hinted that the German manager may be heading to Chelsea. They were going to figure out their future on April 1, when she was scheduled to start working for BMW in Munich.

The Sun reports that Wurzenberger resigned from his position at BILD around the time when Bayern Munich fired Nageslamann. She is waiting for her significant other to make a decision on a career move before she makes one herself.

Nagelsmann is expected to be hired as Chelsea’s permanent manager. The Blues ousted Thomas Tuchel earlier this season and then again fired Graham Potter after he had been in charge for just seven months.

Frank Lampard is serving as caretaker manager for the two-time UEFA Champions League champions as the club continues to look for a permanent successor.

Julian shares our aspiration to play successful and attractive football. But now we have come to the conclusion that the quality in our squad – despite the Bundesliga title last year – has come to the fore less and less often.”

To replace Nagelsmann, the German club brought in Thomas Tuchel, formerly of Chelsea and PSG. Unfortunately, they were eliminated from the DFB Pokal and the Champions League shortly afterwards.
