French professional footballer – Jules Koundé has sustained an injury recently. The player’s club – FC Barcelona made an announcement with regard to the player’s recent injury. Kunde who has been a pretty important part of the team so far this season will now have to be sidelined for some time. The injury which forced the player off against Granada in the recent match, will now put him in doubt for several other important games in the upcoming times.
Jules Koundé in danger of missing the El Classico
Xavi’s Barcelona’s injury woes continue as major players have been picking up severe injuries recently. Jules Koundé who sustained a knee injury in Barcelona’s recent 2-2 draw against Granada is expected to be out for atleast a month now. The player is this quite certain to not be a part of the side when they face Real Madrid in the Classico on 28th of October. Following this injury to Koundé, Barcelona might now be missing six players while taking on Madrid in the all important game.

Jules Koundé who was born in 1998 began his senior career with Bordeaux in 2017 at the age of 19. After having played 70 games for the team in two seasons, he made a move to Sevilla in the La Liga. He played 133 games for the team in total before leaving them for Barcelona in 2022. The right back has made a total of 51 appearances for the club so far across all competitions. He helped the side win the league title last season too.
Barcelona has been in wonderful form lately. The team won the league title last season. With 88 points in 38 matches throughout the season, the team finished at the top of the table – 10 points clear of second placed Real Madrid. The team’s next major motto will be to perform better in the ongoing league season and deliver impactful performances in the upcoming season’s Champions league.
