Axel Tuanzebe makes a move to Championship club following Manchester United exit

Former Manchester United player Axel Tuanzebe has made a move to the championship via this summer’s transfer window. The negotiations with respect to the player’s move were taking place over the past few days. The player who was a free transfer following his departure from Manchester United at the end of the 2022/23 season is now all set to join Ipswich Town. The player’s move to his new club has almost been completed as per the confirmations of several sources.

Axel Tuanzebe joins Ipswich Town on a permanent deal

Fabrizio Romano via his official revelation let everyone know that Axel Tuanzebe’s move to Ipswich Town has almost been completed. The player shall be joining the club as a free agent. Ipswich Town have signed Axel on a one year contract with an option of further deal.

Axel Tuanzebe who was born in 1997 began his senior career with Premier league club – Manchester United in 2015 at the age of 18. He got to make his debut for the club the following season in 2016/17. He spent the following couple of seasons on loan at Aston Villa in the Championship. He returned to United in 2019 only to be loaned to Villa yet again two years later. He spent the last season on loan at Stoke City. He got to play just 5 games for the club throughout the season.

Ipswich Town has been in fairly good form lately. The team finished second in the League One last season with 98 points in 46 games throughout the season. Thanks to their wonderful performances last season, the team gained promotion to the championship this season.

The team’s next major motto will be to perform better in the ongoing championship season and gain promotion to the Premier League in the times to come. The onus will be on the team’s new signings including Axel Tuanzebe to help the side achieve its objectives hereon.
