Arsenal, Chelsea, Wolves, and Fulham have all initiated negotiations with Palmeiras to recruit Veiga

David Beckham is a fan of Palmeiras playmaker Raphael Veiga. In 2021, Inter Miami made a bid for his services, and since then, Arsenal, Chelsea, Wolves, and Fulham have all initiated negotiations with Palmeiras to recruit Veiga.

Veiga, at 27 years old, is an icon in Brazilian football. Since joining Palmeiras in 2016, he has been a mainstay in the middle of the field, contributing to 89 goals and 192 assists in 203 appearances. He scored 10 goals in 41 appearances while on loan at Atlético Paranaense.

In the 2023 Brazilian season, he has already contributed five goals and five assists in 11 games for his present club. To the point that teams from the Premier League and elsewhere in Europe are taking notice.

According to the source, the playmaker is being sought after by Arsenal, Chelsea, Wolves, and Fulham. In the summer, it is difficult to estimate how much he would cost. Nevertheless, UOL said in 2021 that Beckham’s Inter Miami offered £10 million to sign him.

Because of inflation, that price tag has probably gone up since Beckham’s camp made a proposal. The talented midfielder will be playing for the Brazilian team until the conclusion of the 2026 season, according to his contract. Yet, he will have a hard time resisting the allure of the Premier League.

And if you were in Veiga’s position, what would you do? Because he plans on remaining in Brazil, where he is a huge star, he should pursue his goals there. A transfer to the Premier League will do wonders for his chances of earning national team appearances.

When he joins Arsenal, he would be relegated to the bench, and when he joined Chelsea, he would have a crowded path ahead of him. It would be wise to move to Fulham and work with Portuguese manager Marco Silva. Yet, Veiga would be best served by joining the Wolves this summer.
