Andres Iniesta makes a move to UAE following J1 League exit
Spanish legend, Andres Iniesta is all set to join UAE club Emirates Club FC following his departure from Vissel Kobe. The negotiations regarding the player’s move were taking place over the past several days. Iniesta has agreed to move to UAE as it seems to be his possible destiny hereon for the remaining years of his football career. Despite there being rumours of Iniesta’s possible move to MLS, the midfielder is almost headed to no other place but UAE as of now. Several sources have confirmed the player’s transfer to be a certain one recently.
Iniesta to play for Emirates Club FC nowon
Fabrizio Romano via his official revelation let everyone know that Andres Iniesta’s transfer to Emirates Club FC is almost a done deal. The player shall arrive in Dubai tonight and supposedly sign the contract on Tuesday morning. The deal regarding the player’s move to Emirates FC shall be valid until the year 2024 with an option of extension until 2025.
Andres Iniesta who was born in 1984 began his career with FC Barcelona back in the 2002/3 season at the age of 18. The midfield maestro stayed at the club for 15 long years. He made 674 appearances for the club scoring 57 goals besides providing 137 assists. He joined Japanese club, Vissel Kobe in the year 2018 following his Barcelona exit. He made 134 appearances for the club in the last 6 years scoring 26 goals and assisting another 25.

The Spaniard made his international debut at the senior level in the year 2006 aged 22. He represented his nation in several major tournaments. He was a part of the team which won the Euros in 2008 and 2012. He also won the World Cup with Spain in 2010. He has played 131 games for Spain scoring 14 goals and providibg 30 assists. With the experience of over 850 appearances at club level and loads of footballing abilities still left within him, Iniesta surely is going to be a vital addition to his new club, Emirates Club FC from Ras Al-khaimah in UAE.
