English professional footballer Ezri Konsa has signed a new deal with his Premier League club – Aston Villa lately. The negotiations with respect to the player’s new deal were taking place over the past few days. The player who had joined Aston Villa back in the year 2019 is all set to stretch his duration of stay even further nowon. The player’s new deal has nearly been sealed as per the confirmations of several sources.
Ezri Konsa extends his stay at Aston Villa
Fabrizio Romano via his official revelation let everyone know that Ezri Konsa’s new deal with Aston Villa has been completed recently. The player has signed a new long term contract with the English club. The player with over 100 appearances for the club is all set to continue his journey with the team even further.
Ezri Konsa who was born in 1997 began his senior career with Charlton Athletic in the championship back in 2015 at the age of 18. He played three years at the club before joining Brentford. After having made 47 appearances for the club that season, he made a move to Aston Villa in 2019.

Following his move to the club, he got the chance to play in the Premier League for the first time ever in his career. The centre back has played a total of 145 matches for the club till date. He has scored 6 goals and provided 2 assists during his time at the club so far.
Aston Villa have been in fairly good rhythm lately. The side finished 7th in the league last season ahead of top teams like Tottenham and Chelsea. With 61 points in 38 matches including 18 wins, the side managed to cement its spot in the upcoming season’s Europa Conference league. The team has already succumbed to a 5-1 defeat against Newcastle in their first league match of the season.
