Leeds United Transfer News: Illan Meslier Wants to leave
Leeds United Transfer News: Even if Leeds United remain in the Premier League next season, sources say that Illan Meslier is eager to leave the club. The Blues have kept a close eye on Meslier and consider him a top target.
The 23-year-old player signed a contract extension in 2021 that keeps him under contract until 2026. Leeds have reportedly set their star goalkeeper’s price at £40 million ahead of the summer transfer window, as reported by Football Insider.
Although both Tottenham and Manchester United have shown interest in the goalkeeper, Chelsea is eager to close a deal this summer. If the team gets relegated to the Championship next season, the Frenchman will be one of three senior players who will leave.
