West Ham United Transfer News: West Ham would lose £4.2 million on Masuaku
West Ham looks to be close to selling one of its players, despite the fact that there are still a lot of games remaining in the 2022/23 Premier League season.
It may be for the best if David Moyes is unable to keep the east Londoners in the English Premier League because then they can get rid of one of their worst failures.
Having to take a significant loss on the player, though, won’t sit well with the club’s moneymen. Against Chelsea in a five-goal thriller in December 2021, Arthur Masuaku scored the game-winning goal in the dying minutes.

The club apparently chose to loan him out to Besiktas for the next season since there wasn’t much more to say about his career in east London. According to Hammers News, all roads lead to him making his loan agreement permanent if he plays for his present employers on Sunday against Trabzonspor.
The article cites a Sabah source that claims West Ham would lose £4.2 million on Masuaku, between their original investment of £6 million and the deal to sell him to the Turkish giants for just £1.8 million.

The next few games for Moyes and Co. are among the most significant that the club has had in recent history, since it is doubtful that Masuaku will be the only player to go if West Ham do fall into the Championship.
