Tottenham wants to buy €51m star in the summer transfer window

Ward-Prowse grew up in Southampton, so the city has a special place in his heart. After working his way through the ranks, he is now one of the club’s most valuable players. In the summer of 2012, he was promoted to their top squad. And ever since then, he has not turned around.
Ward-Prowse has led the Saints as captain for many years, and the team has improved steadily under his leadership. The Saints’ star striker has played in 399 games for England and has been directly involved in more than 100 goals. 53 of his shots have been goals, and he’s also contributed 51 assists.
Seventeen of his 53 goals have come on direct free-kick attempts. The free-kick expert is rapidly approaching David Beckham’s record of 18 in the Premier League. The 28-year-old has a good shot of equaling or surpassing Beckham’s record of the most free-kick goals scored in the English Premier League.
The Saints and Ward-Prowse have an agreement that will expire in the summer of 2026. The England international may depart the club before next season if they don’t make it back to the Premier League.
