Reggie Cannon makes a move to English club following Boavista exit
USA international Reggie Cannon has made a move to the championship on a free transfer lately. The negotiations with respect to the player’s move were taking place over the past few days. The player who had joined Boavista around three years ago is now all set to begin his journey with Queens Park rangers after having signed for them following the expiration of his previous contract with the Portuguese club. The player’s move has nearly been completed to his new club as per the confirmations of several sources.
Reggie Cannon joins QPR on a permanent deal
Fabrizio Romano via his official revelation let everyone know that Reggie Cannon’s move to Queens Park Rangers has been completed. The player accepted the Championship club’s proposal and shall be joining them on a free transfer. The defender was a free agent after the expiration of his contract with Boavista at the end of the previous season.
Reggie Cannon who was born in 1998 began his senior career with Major League Soccer club – FC Dallas in the year 2017 at the age of 19. After having made 75 appearances for the club in four years, he made a move to Portuguese club – Boavista in the year 2020. He played 89 matches for the team across all competitions in the past three seasons and is now all set to begin his journey with QPR in the championship.
Queens Park Rangers have been in rather poor form lately. The team finished 20th in the championship last season. With just 50 points throughout the last entire league season, the team’s performances have been highly poor lately. The team’s motto in the times to come will be to try to figure out ways to improve their performances and gain promotion to the Premier League.
