Michael Murillo makes a move to Ligue 1 club following Anderlecht exit
Anderlecht player Michael Murillo has made a move to the Ligue 1 via this summer’s transfer window. The negotiations with respect to the players move we are taking place over the past few days. The player who had joined Anderlecht around 4 years ago is now all set to part ways with the club so as to join french club – Olympique Marseille. The player’s move to his new club in France has almost been completed as per the confirmations of several sources.
Michael Murillo to join Marseille on a permanent deal
Fabrizio Romano via his official revelation let everyone know that Michael Murillo’s move to Ligue 1 club Marseille is on the way to be completed soon. Marseille have agreed on the deal to sign Murillo from Anderlecht on a permanent deal. The agreement between both the parties has been reached and the player will join the French club in the next hours.
Michael Murillo who was born in 1996 began his senior career with San Francisco in the 2014/15 season at the age of 18. He joined the New York Red Bulls in the MLS in the year 2017. After having made 80 appearances for the club in three years, the player made a move to Belgian club – Anderlecht in 2019. He got to play 112 games for the club during his four year stay there.
Marseille have been in fairly good form lately. The side finished third in the league last season. With 73 points in 38 matches throughout the season, the team cemented it’s place in the UEFA champions league qualifiers round for the upcoming season.
