Liverpool and Tottenham wants Renato Sanches in the summer transfer window

In preparation for the next summer transfer window, Liverpool and Tottenham are reportedly monitoring Renato Sanches’ position. After a disappointing season with PSG, the 25-year-old star might leave the club during the next transfer window.

Under the direction of new Sporting Director Luis Campos, Paris Saint-Germain made a number of high-profile additions to the team this summer. The 2020-21 Ligue 1 season was LOSC Lille’s first and they won it all thanks to the Portuguese manager. When he made his way to Paris, he made sure one of his key players accompanied him.

During the last year of his contract with Lille, Renato Sanches had many bids from the Premier League. After struggling through stints at Bayern Munich and Swansea, the 25-year-old wants to continue his career revival in France.

Campos thought PSG would be the greatest place for him to advance in his career, thus he signed him for €13 million in the summer of 2022. Sanches’ dismal season kept on, and he had no idea what was coming. The midfielder has only played for 652 minutes in all competitions, despite making three starts in the league.

At a fair price, PSG is willing to let the 25-year-old star player go this summer. Premier League teams continue to monitor his position in Paris, with Liverpool and Tottenham among those keeping a close eye on developments.

During the next summer transfer window, Jürgen Klopp will focus on bolstering his midfield. The club is still in the running to sign the highly sought-after England international, and other names have been suggested, including Jude Bellingham.

Klopp isn’t content with just one midfielder and may want Wolves players Matheus Nunes and Ruben Neves in the next transfer window. Meanwhile, he may investigate Sanches and his predicament in Paris if the asking price is acceptable.

Sanches allegedly had offers from Liverpool and PSG last summer but ultimately selected PSG. In a similar vein, Tottenham is keeping an eye on the situation as they look for a player to fill a different function in the midfield. Antonio Conte has long lamented the team’s lack of midfield innovation and hoped to address the problem in the offseason.

Spurs will have an opportunity to replace the Italian with a midfielder who is more suited to the club’s requirements now that the Italian is leaving. Sanches, who may feel he has unfinished business in the Premier League, may develop into an excellent choice.

Because of the remaining time on his contract, he could leave PSG cheaply. The 25-year-old still has a lot to offer on the pitch and has a promising future in England.
