Argentine ace Lionel Messi’s projected return to the Nou Camp has been called “simply amazing” by former Aston Villa and Liverpool forward Stan Collymore.
Messi, at 35 years old, had been with the Catalan giants for two decades until the club’s financial woes prevented them from extending his contract.

He knows that La Liga is a more competitive league than Ligue 1 and Barcelona is his club. Barcelona’s fans are his fans and being heckled and booed by PSG’s supporters recently is only reaffirming that.”
Messi played with Barcelona for 21 years and scored 672 goals in 778 games (across all competitions) to help the team win 35 trophies (10 Spanish League championships, 4 Champions League crowns).
