Lamine Yamal signs new deal with FC Barcelona
Spanish youngster Lamine Yamal has signed a new deal with FC Barcelona recently. The negotiations with respect to the player’s new deal were taking place over the past few days. The player who had played for Barcelona for the first time in the last season has now signed a new deal with the club. The player’s contract extension is being confirmed to be a done deal as per several sources.
Lamine Yamal extends his stay at Barcelona
Fabrizio Romano via his official revelation let everyone know that Lamine Yamal’s new deal has already been signed at Barcelona. The signing had took place in July itself before the pre season tour. It’s now a matter of time before the official announcement from the club is made.
Lamine Yamal who was born in 2007 began his senior career with Spanish club – FC Barcelona at the age of 15 only last season. The player made his debut for Barcelona in April this year. He had represented Barcelona Atletic – A third tier club in three games prior to his first team debut. The player has played 4 games for Barcelona so far this season and is yet to score his first goal for the club at the senior level.
He made his debut for Spain’s senior national team a couple weeks ago against Georgia in a Euro qualifying match. He scored Spain’s seventh goal in the match becoming their youngest ever goal scorer at the senior level till date.

Barcelona has been in wonderful form lately. The team won the league title last season. With 88 points in 38 matches throughout the season, the team finished at the top of the table – 10 points clear of second placed Real Madrid. The team’s next major motto will be to perform better in the ongoing league season and deliver impactful performances in the upcoming season’s Champions league. The onus will be on the team’s youngsters including Lamine Yamal to help the side achieve its objectives hereon.
