Khephren Thuram Transfer News: Is he one of the options for Liverpool this summer?
Khephren Thuram Transfer News: Khephren Thuram, a player for France and OGC Nice, is allegedly most likely to sign with Liverpool.
InterLive. (via Sport Witness) says that the Reds want to improve their midfield in the summer transfer window. People have been harsh on Jurgen Klopp’s team for how bad it has been so far this season, and a lot of the blame has been put on their old middle.
It is thought that they won’t be able to sign Borussia Dortmund’s Jude Bellingham. From the above story, we now know that Klopp wants Liverpool to sign Nicolo Barella from Inter Milan. But it is said that the Nerazzurri want about €70 million for the Italian.
This has led the Reds to look for cheaper choices, and Thuram has become one of them. Reports say that Liverpool are “stronger than anyone else” in the race to sign the Nice player.

Sport Witness also said that people have different opinions about how much the player is worth. Some sources say the French team might be interested in deals of around €35 million, while other sources say Nice is looking for close to €40 million.
Thuram, who is only 22 years old, has been one of the best young players in Ligue 1 this season. In 45 games, the second son of French great Lilian Thuram has scored two goals and set up eight others.
The young player played for AC Boulogne-Billancourt and AS Monaco when he was younger. In 2019, he moved to Nice from Monaco. Since then, he has played 135 times for the team, scoring eight goals and getting 11 assists. His current contract ends in the summer of 2025.
During the international break last month, he was called up to play for France because of how well he played for Ligue 1. Thuram made his debut on March 24. He came off the bench in the last few minutes of Les Bleus’ 4-0 win over the Netherlands in a UEFA Euro 2024 qualifier.
