Kaoru Mitoma signs new deal with Brighton

Japanese international – Kaoru Mitoma has signed a new deal with his club Brighton lately. The negotiations with respect to the player’s new deal were taking place over the past few days.

The player who had joined Brighton in 2022 is all set to lengthen his period of stay at the club even further. The player’s new deal with the club has almost been completed as per the confirmations of several sources.

Kaoru Mitoma extends his stay at Brighton

Fabrizio Romano via his official revelation let everyone know that Kaoru Mitoma of Japan has extended his contract with Premier league club Brighton. The player has signed a new deal with the club that will be valid until the year 2027.

The player has been an integral part of the club ever since having joined them and this continues to be priceless to the team’s future plans.

Kaoru Mitoma who was born in 1997 began his senior career with University of Tsukuba in 2016 at the age of 19. He joined Kawasaki Frontale in the J1 league in 2019.

He played 62 matches for the club in three years scoring 30 goals before making a move to Premier League club – Brighton in 2022. The tricky winger has played a total of 51 games for the club so far across all competitions wherein he has scored 13 goals and provided 12 assists.

Brighton have been in fairly good form lately. The side finished 6th in the league last season. With 62 points in 38 games including 18 wins throughout the season, the team managed to cement its place in the upcoming season’s Europa League. The next major motto for the team will be to perform even better in the ongoing league season and also achieve significant results in the Europa League during the upcoming times.
