Juan Foyth is said to be moving to Italian and European powerhouse Juventus
Since Juan Foyth failed to make a significant effect at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, the club traded him to Villarreal. Now, the Argentine international defender is said to be moving to Italian and European powerhouse Juventus.
When Foyth signed with Tottenham in 2017, high hopes were placed on his ability to become a key player for the club. The 25-year-old defender has little success with Spurs.
Foyth made his move to Villarreal permanent after spending the 2020-21 season there on loan. The defender commanded a transfer price of £12.9 million for Tottenham (90min).
The defender only managed to make 16 Premier League matches during his stint with Tottenham. Foyth has improved and grown throughout his time at Villarreal, and rumours of a transfer to Juventus have surfaced in the Italian press.
CMW claims that Juventus are interested in signing Foyth as a defender during the next summer transfer window. The 25-year-old, who can play right back, central defense, and defensive midfield, is expected to cost the Italian giant up to €54 million (£47.30 million) in transfer fees. Argentina won the 2022 World Cup in Qatar with him.
