Joselu expresses his love for Real Madrid
Real Madrid which is a club of big emotions for several players has been a home to some of the most legendary players in the history of football so far. Amidst several players who have developed fondness for the club, one is a certain Joselu who currently is the team’s first choice striker.
Joselu let everyone know as to how he felt about playing for the club. He said that he will obviously love to stay here at Madrid even further. “I’m here at Real Madrid on a loan deal with buy option, nothing else. I would really love to stay…”, said he. “Real Madrid is my life’s club, I want to do a special season in order to convince the club and stay here”, Joselu added.
Joselu who was born in 1990 began his career with Celta Vigo in 2008. He first arrived at Madrid in 2010 at the age of 20. He didn’t get much gametime for the first team during his first two seasons at the club, following which he made a move to Bundesliga club’s, Hoffenheim, Frankfurt and Hannover in 2013,2014 and 2015 respectively.
He had a couple of fairly good seasons at Newcastle and followed it up with a move to Alaves in 2019. He spent three seasons at the club scoring 36 goals in 113 games. In 2022/23 season with Espanyol he played well too scoring 17 goals in 37 matches. He has been a fairly good addition to Real Madrid so far this season having scored 5 goals already in 11 matches.
Real Madrid have been in fairly good form lately. The team finished second in the league last season just below Barcelona. Carlo Ancelloti’s men also failed to defend their Champions’ league title last season after crashing out in the semi finals against Manchester City. The next major motto for the side will be to deliver better performances in the league and the UCL. The onus will be on the team’s newer player’s including Joselu to help the side achieve its objectives hereon.
